Investment cards represent gold coins. Every contestant at the start will receive exactly the same amount of gold coins. This virtual currency is used throughout the whole show the same way money is used in real life. The "Get Island" is a reality show that will try to be as close as possible to real life conditions and will not ignore the material side of life.
These cards contain basic information that can be more or less helpful. Contestants can be informed about bad or good weather, about the location of some hidden artifacts, or given educational information about the island that they are looking for, etc.
These are cards that ask for tasks involving problem-solving, endurance, strength, or teamwork from the contestants. Tasks must be completed successfully or the contestants will be penalized.
These cards show tools that contestants can use to solve problems, for example: a hoe, a compass, a fish-hook, matches, a battery, etc. There are also included sets of available vehicles and instructions that contestants can use to find the island, for example some from the list are: sail yacht 8 miles, sail yacht 10 miles, catamaran 12 miles, or buy an airplane ticket, ride an air balloon, rent a car, etc.
Action cards are cards that represent actions that can happen, such as storms, hurricanes, explosions, small fires, big fires, rain, whales on the sea, snakes on the ground, etc.
Immunity cards protect contestants from others voting against them. If a contestant or several contestants have an immunity card, no one can vote against them.
A wild card enables that at any moment someone can be invited and go inside the reality show as a contestant.
